Even if your enemy has perfect aim, you actually shouldn't be getting hurt that bad that fast. It's counter intuitive to a naval warfare buff, but turning to present your flat belt armor and get all guns on target is actually a terrible idea most of the time in World of Warships.Įven if a person was cheating, which I don't doubt there are some people out there that do - this is an F2P online game, after all (I highly doubt it's common at all though) - a player is going to miss a lot simply due to the semi-random nature of where the shells fall in WoWs. Taking three shell penetrations is the equivalent of taking a citadel (in terms of raw damage anyway).Īlso, 10-12 km is fairly short range for a BB, honestly. Im currently only playing at tier 3-5 and it happens like every 2-4 match theres atleast 1 guy that always citadels, when im in my battleship usually from like 10-12 km away If you're getting hit in the citadel with a BB consistently, you're definitely showing too much broadside.Īlso, if I had to guess, if you're showing too much broadside, you're probably not actually eating citadels as often as you think you are, just a whole lot of normal penetrations all at once. Im still not there, usually takes a salvo or two to get my eye in, then unelss you move, every salvo hits. An experienced captain shooting a non turning target can get multiple citadels with the right guns. Many ships at higher tiers have very tight dispersion.
